Windows can get what’s called the Blue Screen of Death, or BSOD for short. The BSOD is never a welcomed sight. When you get the BSOD, it typically appears when Windows encounters a critical error that it can’t recover from, requiring a reboot and possibly resulting in lost work.
A Blue Screen of Death is the worst type of error a computer can experience, since it brings down the whole system. BSODs can be caused by poorly written device drivers, malfunctioning hardware, such as faulty memory, power supply issues, overheating of components, hardware running beyond its specification limits, and even Windows updates.
